Parts/Tools Needed:
- RPi Ram Air Scoops
- Phillips screw driver (long-medium + stubby)
- Torx Screwdriver
- Black Silicone sealant
*Although both scoops (driver/passenger side) look similar, they are NOT the same. The driver side profile will be slightly different due to the way the stock intake ducting is set up (longer travel on the passenger side). This is perfectly normal and there is no defect in your ram air set.*
Step 1: Kidney Grill Removal

Start by removing the torx bolts securing the top of the front bumper.

Pull the top of the bumper forward to gain access to the grill clips.

You’ll want to squeeze/pinch the clips and pull the grill outwards at the same time. Do the same for the side and bottom clips.
Step 2: Secure panel/shroud

Because of the amount of airflow that will be coming in with the scoops, securing the panel/shroud piece the scoop attaches to is necessary. Use the self tapping screw (smaller of the screws in your hardware packet) to secure the plastic trim. Do this for both sides.

Step 3: Scoop Installation

Remove the backing of the 3M double sided tape. (both sides) Make sure surface where the scoop is mounting to is clean. We recommend cleaning with rubbing alcohol and drying with a lint free rag.

The top of the scoop will insert partially into the stock intake ducting.

Position and adjust the scoop if necessary before installing with the screws.

Using a stubby screwdriver, secure the outer side of the scoop with a provided self tapping screw.

Install using the self tapping screw on the inner side of the scoop.

Use of silicone sealant on the back side of the screws is recommended.

Repeat installation procedures for both sides. Once the scoops are installed and secure, install the kidney grills and re-install the bumper mounting bolts.
